I want to introduce some delicious foods you should try.

1- Ghorme Sabzi
is an Iranian herb stew. It is a very popular dish in Iran.
dont forget to drink " DOOGH"  with it.
2- Khoresh Gheime
is a popular dish in Iran. It's made of meat, split peas and tomato concentrate (or puree) and onions.

3- Gheimeh Bademjan (eggplant sturgeon)
The eggplant sturgeon is one of the most popular Persian sturgeon species that is produced in a variety of ways. This stew is almost like a potato sturgeon, with the exception that eggplant is used instead of potatoes.

4- Zereshk Polow ba Morgh
is so popular among the Iranian people that in most official parties it can be seen on the table and enjoyed the color of the dish.

5- Kabab Koobideh
is an Iranian meat kabab made from ground lamb or beef, and less commonly chicken, often mixed with parsley and chopped onions.

6-  Jujeh Kabab
is an Iranian dish that consists of grilled chunks of chicken which is one of the most common and popular dishes of Iran. It is common to marinate the chunks in minced onion, lemon juice and sometimes saffron.

7-  Abgoosht ( Dizi)
is an Iranian stew which refers to the traditional stoneware crocks it is served in. Some describe it as a "hearty mutton Persian soup thickened with chickpeas".

8- Sabzi Polow (herb rice) and Mahi (fish)
is traditionally served for the Persian new year Norooz. Persian New Year is celebrated every year to signify the beginning of spring and most of the dishes served during Norooz holidays have herbs as a symbol of rebirth, and fish that represents life.

Finally, each province has its own specialty local foods such as Fars has "Kalam Polow Shirazi"  , " DAMPOKHT", " KATTE GOJEH" and "Do Piaze Aloo" , ......
